rogue pencil madness...:D

ok so was experimenting with the finish of a bunch of different pencils today -topic was an easy choice...savageland rogue is ftw . at any rate these were quick and rough just getting to know each pencil as it were.

pencils(all hb grade)-
derwent graphic
staedtler rally
staedtler mars lumograph
generals kimberly graphite
faber castell 9000

how they performed-
1) faber castell-had the most fun with this one really made me want to draw more
2)derwent-bit scratchy but similarly had me wanting to keep drawing
3)generals kimberly graphite-scratchy indeed and wasn't smooth but passable for a one figure drawing-wouldn't want to work it more than that
4)staedtler's rally-smooth but not much control here felt like i was rushing to the finish and breathed a sigh of relief when i was done -would not stay sharp
5)staedtler mars lumograph-sharpened badly, lines were uneven-wouldnt stay sharp...big disappointment
